Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work closely with our CEO to develop innovative strategies and partnerships that drive revenue growth for our partner publishers. You will be responsible for driving sales to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets. The successful candidate will have experience with partnership development and advertising and sponsorship sales. Experience with grant writing, donor development or fundraising is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Indiegraf publishers to identify revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop innovative revenue-generating strategies
  • Create and present compelling proposals, including some grant writing where appropriate
  • Develop effective digital campaigns
  • Manage sponsor and advertiser funnel, using CRM and tracking data
  • Negotiate and secure sponsorships and advertising partnerships
  • Achieve quarterly and annual targets
  • Cultivate partnerships to increase lifetime value and provide excellent customer service
  • Create compelling reports back to sponsors and partners that capture the deep engagement and impact of our publishers

Details:

  • Full-time, during normal working hours with occasional work evenings and weekend
  • Location: anywhere, with availability to collaborate with Vancouver team
  • $60,000 to 75,000 CDN annual compensation, depending on experience

You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • has relevant post-secondary education.
  • has two to five years of relevant professional experience. We want to work with someone who has firsthand experience of sales, sponsorship and fundraising processes and wants to learn and grow with high quality training, coaching and professional development.
  • is a creative, motivated self-starter energized by cold calls, outbound campaigns and being part of a team with hustle. You are super organized and love sales.

Developer / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Developer / Project Manager to work closely with our CTO and Senior Developer to oversee the development of our partner publisher websites and the management of publisher relations as it relates to technology needs. You will be responsible for overseeing product planning, publisher communications and project management, while also getting your hands dirty building out sites, analytics dashboards and integrations, as needed. The successful candidate will have experience with developing WordPress websites, building out analytics dashboards using Data Studio, Stitch/Singer, API calls, data management, relationship and project management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to product strategy and developing the technology roadmap
  • Develop WordPress websites from existing Indiegraf themes
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of existing network websites
  • Manage and communicate revenue and growth metrics to Indiegraf team and partner publishers
  • Build reusable and live dashboards using APIs, Google Scripts, Stitch/Singer and Data Studio
  • Manage relationships with partner publishers to ensure that their technology and data needs are being addressed

Customer Service and Admin Coordinator

We are seeking a Customer Service and Administration Coordinator at Indiegraf. This role will work closely with our CTO and focus on supporting Indiegraf’s operations and customer service for partner publishers. The successful candidate will have experience helping customers with their questions and administration tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Help customers with questions about their membership subscriptions
  • Create and cancel subscriptions using WordPress and Stripe
  • Communicate with customers by email and phone
  • Understand the publisher’s product and anticipate questions customers might have
  • Monitor Indiegraf email queries
  • Contribute to general office administration and management
  • Prepare and monitor invoices

Details:

  • Part-time, during normal working hours with occasional work evenings and weekends
  • Location: anywhere, with availability to collaborate with Vancouver team
  • $20-25/hour, depending on experience

Digital Marketing Intern

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to work closely with our CTO and Audience Strategist to contribute to executive digital marketing to drive audience and revenue growth of our partner publishers. You will contribute to campaign planning and publisher communications, while also getting your hands dirty writing digital marketing copy, creating email segmentation and marketing and executing paid acquisition campaigns as needed. The successful candidate will have experience with social media and digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to developing growth strategies and campaign plans for partner publishers across multiple platforms
  • Monitor, optimize and communicate performance of campaigns
  • Analyze data, communicate insights and advise publishers on content strategy
  • Execute growth strategies including copy writing, marketing asset production (landing pages, ads), email marketing, digital advertising (audience development, A/B testing)
  • Contributing to the development of replicable digital toolkits and best practices to drive growth across multiple publishers
  • Contribute to partner publisher communications to ensure that their marketing needs are being addressed
